Lopez Academy offers need-based tuition assistance to keep its programs accessible to families from diverse backgrounds, with support based on need, resources, and capacity. Admission is based on application, space, and program fit, with financial aid prioritized for demonstrated need and family commitment. Assistance is determined using objective criteria, including need, enrollment, and engagement.
ESA
Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)
Arizona offers a powerful option for families called ESA. This program allows public education funds to follow your child—meaning you can use those funds toward private education at Lopez Academy.
ESA is available to all families, regardless of income, and is one of the easiest ways to make private school affordable.
Families receive $7,000–$9,000 per year, depending on their child’s age and needs. If tuition exceeds ESA funding, families simply cover the remaining balance out-of-pocket, with eligible families only paying with ESA.
Lopez Academy is working to add Tax Credit Scholarship options in the future. Currently, we accept ESA payments via ClassWallet.
Can I apply for ESA now?
Yes. ESA applications are open year-round and can be completed online.
What happens if ESA doesn’t cover full tuition?
Families are responsible for covering any tuition amount not met by ESA funds. Eligible families may receive financial aid.
