UPPER GRADES

High School & Middle School

MONDAY - THURSDAY

Economics and Entrepreneurship, 1.5

Students learn how money moves—from how the economy works to how dollars are earned, spent, saved, budgeted, and grown over time. Ideas like markets, portfolios, and decision-making come together, helping kids think in systems using mental models and frameworks, while developing skills in sales, marketing, and copywriting.

Computer Science and AI, 1.0

From coding and automation to artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, students gain the technical skills needed to thrive in a technology-driven world. Through hands-on projects, they learn programming, computational thinking, problem-solving, and digital creativity while exploring how software, algorithms, and intelligent systems shape everyday life.

Math Academy, 1.0

Math is mastered, not memorized. Through a proven online system, students move at their level, building speed, clarity, and real understanding—without gaps.

American History and Civic Foundations, 1.0

Using Hillsdale resources, students study American history and civics while developing reading, writing, and essay skills through classic texts and Western ideas.

Logic and Debate Fundamentals, 1.5

Clear thinking meets confident speaking. With LSAT-logical reasoning worksheets and live debates, kids learn to argue well, listen carefully, and communicate with precision.

Biblical Wisdom and Thought, 0.5

Scripture becomes a guide for life. Students trace the Old and New Testaments alongside the Wisdom Literature, drawing out truth that shapes everyday decisions.

FRIDAY

Workshop and Life Skills, 2.0

Students learn directly from professionals through hands-on experiences, exposing them to real careers and practical trade skills. Build, fix, create, and serve through real-world projects—such as constructing, repairing, or helping others—while applying entrepreneurial thinking through product creation, mock businesses, interview skills, and other real-world practices.

Grammar, 1.0

Through editing, imitation, and worksheets, students develop strong grammar skills and learn how American English works.

Science Labs, 1.0

Science moves off the page and into the real world. Experiments, observation, and hands-on discovery make concepts visible and memorable.

Creative Arts, 1.0

A space to create, not just consume. Whether through writing, sketching, or music, students bring ideas to life and develop their creative voices.

Christian Apologetics, 0.5

Students learn to think through what they believe, defend it clearly, and speak about Christianity with confidence.

Sports & Games, 1.0

A fun and active period to end the week. Through sports and games, students build teamwork, enjoy competition, and strengthen friendships.

Numbers come to life through hands-on learning, visual tools, and steady practice. Students build strong foundations in counting, patterns, and problem-solving—developing both confidence and clarity.

These hours follow elementary versions of the upper-grade classes on Fridays.

Lunch & Breaks
